THE ROLE & THE TEAM
Zalando’s Enterprise Applications and Architecture department works with state-of-the-art technology to deliver innovative solutions to all parts of our platform. As a part of ERP Engineering, you will work with the newest ERP products. We have close partnerships with SAP innovation centers, AWS, and renowned implementation partners. Our ERP System (S/4HANA) runs on a HANA database and we deliver frequent roll-outs of new ERP technology and business processes. On our team we create, maintain and optimize ERP applications. As a Full-Stack Senior SAP Engineer, you will develop technical solutions using ABAP, CDS Views, BTP services, Integration Suite, and SAPUI5 based on business requirements across functional areas of ERP. You will be at the forefront of developing powerful and innovative solutions.

WHAT WE'D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)
Perform complex ABAP and SAPUI5 programming, testing and debugging for the ongoing development of our SAP S/4HANA 2020 implementation
Provide creative ideas and solutions to address problem areas
Improve setup, tooling, coverage and documents to benefit ERP Engineering
Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior team members and give presentations internally when necessary
WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF...
You have strong technical expertise in ABAP, OData, CDS Views, and SAPUI5 development, mainly in the functional areas of S/4HANA Retail, Materials Management, BRIM, Finance, Controlling, and Treasury Management
At least 6 years of current and relevant work experience with developing complex SAP applications
Well versed with Object Oriented (OO) concepts of SAP ABAP and the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP)
CAP or Integration Suite experience (nice to have)
Adaptability and desire to quickly learn new skills
Practical work approach and flexibility with changing requirements
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
