WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)
You'll collaborate closely with internal teams to develop scalable solutions that influence the company’s future. But also, you'll be at the forefront of delivering innovative features for over 50 million Zalando customers.
You will assume responsibility for the architecture, design, development, and deployment of the team's applications. As we uphold high standards of operational excellence, your positive and steadfast attitude toward maintaining them is crucial.
You will play a key role in cultivating a "platform" mindset within the team and across the organization, facilitating our ability to efficiently meet business needs at scale. This encompasses shaping our ways of working to encourage fruitful collaboration within the company.
You will take the lead in cross-team collaborations, positioning yourself in the driver's seat
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for smart people with strong engineering experience and skills, who care about solving tangible customer problems.
We have a varied tech stack, we expect you to be comfortable learning new languages, technologies, and systems to use the right tool for the job. (Think AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Golang, Node, TypeScript, React, GraphQL).
Experience designing and implementing microservices, RESTful APIs, or event-driven architectures is a plus.
People who can thrive in a collaborative environment involving diverse stakeholders and varying complex domains, for example, mobile, product, design, and analytic teams.
Clear verbal and written communication skills. The ability to craft concise and well-written messages is especially important during the current hybrid working setup.
Someone who loves engineering: designing, making, and breaking things!
