Over the last years, we learned that solving fulfilment related challenges for the good of our customers helps us to fuel the growth of our platform. With more partners in the Multi Channel Fulfilment (MCF) program joining our platform, we have been developing and testing additional further fulfilment services tailored to their needs.
The ZEOS Logistics department is responsible for all partner-facing Zalando Logistics Solutions. By unifying and collaborating these services under a single umbrella, we provide a more holistic approach to deliver the optimal fulfilment solution to meet our partners' needs, and leverage common services to enable partner program growth.
As a Principal Fullstack Software Engineer, you will be the architect in a head area of 2-5 engineering teams. Together with your peers organised in a principal community you will consult the teams in best practices and set the standards for future software projects by choosing the right technologies and solutions. You will benefit from the experience in a larger company with specialists organised in technical communities.

WHY YOU SHOULD BE INTERESTED…
You'll create highly scalable solutions to be used by ZEOS Logistics partners and their employees and also internal operations and sales teams.
You'll define the architecture and lead the project which is run by a team of experienced engineers and product managers.
You'll coordinate the cooperation between our team and the external stakeholders
You'll oversee the development and user interface implementation of an integrated system. You’ll be involved in the technical design, coding, testing, and deployment process. Ensure that Continuous Integration, Code Quality, Code Reviews, Test Coverage, etc. are kept at very high standards
You'll join a team that is dedicated to delivering the highest standards when it comes to the quality of your code and implementation. Add value by leveraging current trends in software design, architecture and web services.
As part of our Principal Engineering Community, you collaborate with other senior individual contributors to set engineering standards, guide decision-making for the technology landscape at Zalando via our Techradar .
Working like a startup in an agile environment & taking ownership for the whole development cycle - from architecture design to testing to implementation & maintenance.
WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF YOU HAVE…
Good understanding of microservice architecture and RESTful APIs as well experience with React, Typescript, Webpack, CSS/HTML and related technologies;
Experience with micro frontend architecture and framework (single-spa or similar).
Experience with proxy, reverse-proxy and API gateways is desirable;
Experience with Authentication and Authorization systems based on OAUth2.0 or OIDC specifications (ie. Keycloak and Okta);
Experience with UX Design Systems is a plus.
Experience with AWS and Kubernetes is a plus.
Experience with event driven architecture is a plus.
You have experience in full development cycle in an agile setting, including testing (manual and automated) and deployment to CI/CD systems
You have sense of ownership and analytical thinking add to your excellent communication skills (fluent in written & spoken English is a must) and willingness to share knowledge within and outside the team
You have good communication skills to work effectively with colleagues, moderate team meetings and find creative solutions to complex problems as a team.
Previous experience in the Customer Portal domain is a bonus.
