Our ambition is for customers to feel rewarded for their loyalty and therefore to increase their engagement. At a high level, the roles mission includes:

  • Setting the overarching Loyalty strategy for Zalando across all propositions, in alignment with the Zalando Group Strategy but also learning from industry best practices.

  • Establishing Loyalty thinking across Zalando; helping commercial leaders to utilising loyalty as a key commercial mechanism in their Go-to-Market strategies. 

  • Building and evolving a global loyalty platform and loyalty experiences for our customers; be overall responsible for the customer experience, features and also commercial viability of the model.

This team is critical for Zalando to deeply understand our customers, build deep relationships with them and provide them an outstanding experience. You leverage the loyalty program to create strong not only amazing experiences but also help achieve commercial results

WHAT WE'D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)

We’re looking for a Principal Product Manager to drive Customer Retention for Zalando Plus. You’re coming in at the very start of our loyalty journey, and will play a critical role in ensuring that customers feel rewarded and satisfied with the program no matter where they are in their customer journey. You’ll collaborate closely with the Director of Product for Zalando Plus, to define and execute a product vision and strategy that engages our customers and improves retention. As we’re scaling the program, you’ll work both tactically and strategically, reacting to early quantitative and qualitative customers to improve the program short term, while working toward a cohesive longer term strategy to strengthen customer relationships over time.

WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF

  • Product leader collaborating in a cross-functional team set-up with 5+ years experience within product management, ideally with commercial and customer experience focus

  • Experience in transforming customer needs into technology products at scale (from idea generation to solution design and implementation/execution) gained in a highly technical environment 

  • Quantitative thought leader with a strong understanding of product methods and tools as well as statistical/analytical approaches 

  • Strong team player and collaborator who can excite others to contribute to innovate and improve our value proposition and key customer experience

  • Ability to transform distributed information into written narratives to inform decision-making paired with bar-raising storytelling capabilities

  • Excellent verbal communication to large and diverse audiences, up to the executive team
