The Office
Dortmund is a big deal for us. It was our first ever Tech Hub, kicking off in 2012. We've even invested in a brand-new office. It's a modern space that makes working together easy. Plus, it's right in the middle of everything, so getting around is simple. We're all about good vibes and team spirit here.
The Teams
The teams in Dortmund are key to building the base of Zalando’s growing world. They're the ones making sure everything runs smoothly. Here's a quick look at what they do:
- Inventory Management: They're building the systems that track all our products in real-time.
- Fulfilment Network: They create the digital version of our logistics to keep things running like clockwork.
- Transport Network: They're in charge of getting deliveries where they need to go.
- Payments: They make sure our payment options work for everyone, everywhere.
- Gift Cards: They build the gift card system.
Basically, these teams are the backbone of ZEOS.
Our Working Environment
We're big on community in Dortmund. There are always things happening after work. We love taking part in the B2Run Dortmund – it's a running event for companies. And the Dragon Boat Race at Lake Phoenix? Seriously fun. We also like to connect with other tech people by hosting meet-ups. You might also find us at events like JavaLand and the TU Dortmund Career Fair. Last year, we had a "Summer of Sports" with volleyball and badminton. It's all about hanging out and having a good time with colleagues.
