THE ROLE & THE TEAM

As a Senior Specialist International People Services (all genders) you will support the growing need for people operations expertise in existing and new international Zalando locations across Europe, from onboarding to offboarding. This role shall serve as the first point of contact for leaders, stakeholders and employees on a wide range of people operations related topics.

THIS IS A LIMITED 12 MONTH CONTRACT DUE TO MATERNITY COVER.

WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)

  • You are responsible for all data management and contractual aspects of the whole employment lifecycle and ensure a smooth customer experience on both sides - employees and stakeholders

  • You are familiar with people processes and policies and able to adapt to local requirements

  • You will set up, implement and improve processes and documentation related to International Employment  and other tasks within scope in collaboration with Legal

  • You have a close interface to other colleagues in the People Operations such as International Payroll, Mobility Services and Talent Acquisition 

  • You will work on a variety of projects and initiatives as a contributor or owner 

  • The role may involve liaising with external partners (such as employer of record) to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, and to provide HR assistance to our team as needed

 

WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF

  • You have experience with working in an international people function that is largely accountable for day-to-day operations and being customer facing

  • You have experience with setting up scalable processes

  • You have the ability to liaise and partner with different teams and stakeholders within the organization

  • You are solution-oriented, love organizational challenges and convince with an independent and careful way of working

  • You are fluent in English and you might have some language skills in other languages of the countries we are operating in 

  • Ideally you have already knowledge of working with SAP and/or Workday
