THE ROLE & THE TEAM
As the Marketing Manager for Romania, Hungary, Croatia, and Slovenia (all genders), you will join the Go-To-Market Marketing team to manage all local marketing activities, further develop our brand KPIs, and help make Zalando a beloved brand in the aforementioned markets. You will also act as a brand guardian, ensuring consistent communication and tone of voice across all touchpoints.
WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)
Identify key consumers and competitive insights to guide decision making across the whole Zalando and multiple stakeholders
Analyse and identify commercial marketing levers to drive customer and business growth in the market.
Monitor in depth the market and competitive landscape dynamics and have a sharp eye on market trends
Contribute to creating a compelling market marketing strategy securing business and marketing growth leveraging upper and mid funnel touchpoints
Plan and manage local marketing budget aiming at maximising effectiveness of our investment across all channels
Plan, orchestrate and execute an annual marketing plan for four markets in close alignment and collaboration with various company stakeholders and teams
Support translation of the plan into efficient and optimised media strategy and individual media plans under guidance of / in collaboration with the media team
Roll-out and amplify Zalando global campaigns, define, manage and execute hyper-local activation tailored to RO/HU/HR/SI markets, driving their relevance towards local customers and fit for commercial priorities
Activate and amplify Zalando propositions (fashion, sport, kids etc.) securing market relevant mix
Plan, brief, execute and track local activations leveraging multiple touchpoints (selective paid media, owned channels, influencers, content creators, newsletters, partnerships and sponsorships) in collaboration with various cross-functional stakeholders and expert teams (ex. consumer PR)
Manage local media, creative and IM agencies supporting Zalando in the growth journey
WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF:
You are willing to relocate to Berlin. This is a Berlin based job, under a hybrid work scheme
You are a seasoned marketing generalist with at least 4 years of professional experience in the field in the Romanian, Hungarian or Croatian market. Experience of working with / for e-commerce brands is a plus.
You have a strong understanding of the various Offline and Online Marketing Channels and Media; good knowledge of Social Media platforms and influencer landscape, basic understanding of the various performance channels
You have analytical skills to take into consideration consumer insights/trends with ability to translate them into synthetic and actionable market marketing strategy and plan of initiatives driving growth
You are a team player, well organised and feel comfortable steering several key projects with different stakeholders while acting as an owner & facilitator
Deep knowledge of the Romanian, Hungarian, Croatian and Slovenian markets to win the hearts & minds of our consumers further, you can provide insights into the local competitive landscape and market trends
Fluency in English is essential, with a preference for native Romanian or Croatian speakers. English will be your primary working language at Zalando
