THE ROLE AND THE TEAM
As a Senior Applied Scientist in the Pricing, Product and Consumer Insights (PPCI) team, you will develop and maintain a wide range of ML-based forecasting products throughout the assortment lifecycle, in collaboration with engineers and other applied scientists. These models are used on a day-to-day basis in business processes to make major steering decisions that are crucial for the business.

WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)
Develop ML forecasting models to support a variety of business processes.
Improve the accuracy and stability of existing forecasts.
Build analytical and operational dashboards to enable your team and stakeholders to make data driven decisions.
Contribute to the scientific design of a framework supporting unified decision making across several commercial levers.
Help design forecasting and target setting business processes involving both algorithmic and human actions.
Design and run experiments to test ML model improvements.
WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF
You have 3+ years of professional work experience with ML forecasting models.
You have strong programming skills in Python
You have hands-on experience with relevant software technologies: Cloud infrastructure (ideally AWS & Kubernetes), relational database (Redshift). Experience with ETL, data warehouses or data lakes is a big plus (Airflow, DBT).
Preferably, you have:
Experience with data analysis tools (e.g. Pandas, numpy, Plotly, Jupyter Notebooks, Databricks) is desirable.
Experience working closely with other data scientists and machine learning engineers.
Experience with A/B testing
