The Head of Commercial Pricing role is a key leadership position within our Commercial Pricing team. You will lead a team including Pricing Managers and Pricing Leads, directing the strategic development and implementation of pricing strategies for our customers. This role is central to our wholesale planning and trading activities, ensuring that local strategies are translated into effective commercial pricing incentives. Working closely with trading, engineering, and product teams, the Head of Commercial Pricing is vital in enabling fast, data-driven decisions and driving the overall success of the Commercial Pricing team and the Markets organization.

Lead a team of Pricing Managers and Pricing Leads, driving the strategic development and implementation of commercial pricing strategies.
Improve, scale, and unify our tooling infrastructure and reporting landscape supporting budget planning, forecasting, and intraweek steering processes, as well as monthly/quarterly business reviews.
Generate robust pricing recommendations and strategies based on careful assessment of their impact on business growth, profitability, and local market strategies.
Establish clear objectives and cultivate a high-performance culture through mentorship, skill development, and fostering a collaborative team environment.
Create simple and innovative solutions that enable trading teams to quickly turn insights into actions and generate learnings for the future using a single source of truth.
Engage with key business stakeholders to align pricing initiatives with broader organizational goals, serving as a vital advisor on commercial pricing decisions.
Facilitate ongoing alignment with commercial, finance and product teams across all markets, promoting data-driven decision-making.
Act as a sparring partner for the trading teams, supporting and challenging them to achieve the best outcome for our customers.
Support the leadership team in defining and executing operational plans and commercial pricing portfolios to improve our trading capabilities in the long run.
Lead cross-functional initiatives, working closely with engineering and product teams to address challenges in tooling infrastructure, reporting, and data pipelines.
WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF
An accomplished analytical leader with 10+ years of experience in pricing, online retail, finance, or related fields with a strong analytics and business background.
Exceptional stakeholder management capabilities, with a proven track record of fostering collaboration and creating shared visions.
Demonstrated expertise in building and leading high-performing teams, inspiring focus and exemplary leadership.
Strong communication skills, adept at data storytelling and engaging effectively with both analytical and commercial audiences.
Proficiency in Excel, Google Suite, SQL, S3, Python, and Github. Microstrategy knowledge would be an advantage. You are able to set up data pipelines that connect to large and complex datasets.
Agile and adaptable to change, with the capacity to quickly respond to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Fluent in English, with the ability to communicate complex commercial steering/ trading concepts clearly to a variety of stakeholders.
A passionate advocate for the company culture and vision, prioritizing customer-centric strategies.
A degree (Bachelor and/or Master) in Econometrics, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, or its equivalent.
