The Strategic Partner Management (SPM) team is responsible for co-creating and implementing strategic growth plans for our most strategic partnerships. We leverage the full spectrum of the Zalando Platform and act as the main point of contact to the partner - bringing the very best of Zalando to the partnership.
In this role you will own the holistic strategy with a few of Zalando’s most important brand partners in Kid's Propositions, providing commercial expertise and advice with the goal to drive sustainable, qualitative, and mutual commercial growth, representing the relationship towards internal and external stakeholders.
Strategic Partner Managers will also drive initiatives associated with commercial goals for these partnerships and support in building and implementing best practices across our team and the partnerships we manage.

WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)
Strategy: Develop, maintain, and execute strategic plans with clear roadmaps and timelines, and coordinate partner focused initiatives across relevant functions within and beyond the Fashion Proposition and solve newly arising problems on-the-go.
Platform Strategy: Build a partner-focused Platform vision and project landscape, including financial and strategic plans. Drive cross-department partner focused initiatives and ensure their timely implementation.
Stakeholder Management: Ensure transparency across stakeholders to facilitate project progress. Maintain a strong network within the partners’ organisation and enable structured relationship management. You confidently steer large meetings towards a desired outcome, you collaborate with empathy to achieve the targets; and you communicate transparently to manage your projects to success.
Enabling Decision-Making: You will be responsible for writing and presenting strategic papers and presentations for senior management. You keep it simple and approach problems and opportunities with a logical and pragmatic mindset and evaluate potential against costs to develop a clear rationale for decision making.
Financial Planning: Support the Portfolio Teams with the setting and alignment of commercial growth targets for the partnership with the selected brands. Integrate Zalando business models and services feeding into the plans and track target achievements
Negotiations: Set annual terms and conditions, ensuring a positive and commercially viable partnership.
WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF
You gained 6+ years of relevant work experience in consumer-oriented commercial, partner-facing, or highly analytical roles. Fashion industry required, Ecommerce experience a big plus
Experience in managing cross-functional projects and multiple internal and external stakeholders. Entrepreneurial mindset with strong perseverance - you take ownership, work in a structured & independent manner and do not lose sight of your goals within complex topics
You are a strategic commercial thinker with impressive analytical skills and critical mindset. You have strong technical skills in Microsoft / Google Suite
You are a strategic commercial thinker with a critical mindset. You have a strong understanding of the P&L lines in an ecommerce setting and empathy for the strategic needs of fashion brands
You have outstanding communication skills and can drive projects with different teams across the organisation, including senior management stakeholders
