The Commercial Pricing team is at the core of the planning and trading activities at Zalando. Our mandate is to drive and translate localized strategies into commercial pricing incentives for our customers.
As a Pricing Manager in the Commercial Pricing team and as part of our broader Commercial Planning and Trading (CP&T) Business Unit, your mission will be to win locally using the algorithmic Pricing toolkit available. You will support in defining and execute the local pricing strategies for a group of countries while fostering customer engagement.

WHAT WE'D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING):
You will act like an owner by managing all Pricing operations (budget planning, weekly forecasting and weekly steering) for the respective Markets.
You will connect the dots between your actions and the end customer by developing best practice customer orientated pricing strategies.
You will develop a strong understanding of your local market’s customer reactions, competitor behaviour and the Zalando platform.
You will be contributing to cross-functional initiatives in close collaboration with commercial, analytics, product and engineering colleagues.
You will utilize your agile and analytical mindset to come up with lean solutions in a fast and dynamic environment.
You will support junior team members.
WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF...
A degree (Bachelor, Master or MBA) in Econometrics, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, or its equivalent. With 3+ years of work experience in pricing, online retail, finance, consulting or related fields, you have a strong business and analytical background.
Ability to effectively drive projects end-to-end and comfortably manage many stakeholders with different interests.
Self-driven and result-oriented, you have a hands-on mentality and enjoy working independently as well as in a team.
You are a strategic thinker with impressive problem solving skills and critical mindset.
Great communication skills, you are well structured.
