As Senior Content Manager in the Programming & Experimentation team, you’ll be the operational lead behind Zalando’s most visible content experiences — spanning Originals, Brand, and Creator content across multiple surfaces. Your core focus will be to build, manage, and scale content delivery systems that ensure the right content reaches the right audience at the right time.

You’ll lead the planning and execution of content initiatives from end to end — managing timelines, aligning stakeholders, and building workflows that deliver at speed and scale. Your day-to-day will involve working closely with teams across product, engineering, analytics, creative production, product marketing, and direct marketing. Strong stakeholder management and project management skills are non-negotiable.

WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING):

  • Own the planning, coordination, and execution of Originals content programming across Zalando surfaces.

  • Build and manage content workflows and operational frameworks that enable scalable, efficient delivery of  content formats.

  • Develop and maintain content calendars and delivery schedules, ensuring seamless coordination across Originals, Brand, Creator, and external partners.

  • Lead content project management for new Originals initiatives, ensuring timelines, ownership, and deliverables are clearly defined and met.

  • Manage stakeholder alignment and communications, keeping partners informed and engaged throughout the content delivery process.

  • Structure and optimize content intake, asset management, and QA processes to support operational excellence.

  • Track programming performance and support reporting initiatives with clear, actionable operational insights.

  • Partner closely with Senior Program Managers and Content Strategists to operationalize experimentation outcomes into programming workflows.

WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF

  • You have 3–5+ years of experience in content operations, editorial project management, or digital content management in a fast-paced environment.

  • You are highly organized, process-driven, and excel at building and maintaining scalable workflows that support content delivery at speed and quality.

  • You have strong project management skills, with a proven ability to manage complex projects across multiple stakeholders and functions.

  • You are comfortable working with content management systems (e.g., Contentful), asset management tools, and basic content reporting dashboards.

  • You bring excellent communication skills, able to align stakeholders, escalate blockers, and maintain momentum across projects.

  • You are detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage competing priorities without losing focus on quality and timelines.

  • You are fluent in English, both written and verbal.
