THE ROLE & THE TEAM

We are looking for a Junior Casting Coordinator – Editorial & Branded Partner Campaigns (all genders) to join our internal casting team. You will support the casting process by sourcing and coordinating diverse talents, models, influencers, and creatives from around the globe.

Working closely with experienced casting professionals, the in-house creative team, and external collaborators like Highsnobiety and leading fashion and lifestyle brands, you’ll gain hands-on experience helping to shape creative content across various fashion propositions including high-end designer, streetwear, sports, and beauty.

This role is ideal for someone with a passion for fashion, street culture, and emerging talent, and who is excited to learn the ins and outs of casting within a fast-paced creative environment. You will work alongside Senior Art Directors, Creative Directors, Stylists, and Producers in the execution of editorial shoots, campaign content, and Liveshow formats.

This role may touch on different production areas, depending on needs and your developing experience:

  • Editorial (Stories at Zalando / The Statement Creative): Support bringing fresh, diverse global talent to Zalando’s editorial storytelling.

  • Broadcasting & Liveshow: Assist in coordinating on-air talent such as hosts and guests for Zalando’s interactive live shopping experiences.

  • CSCC (Content Strategy Consideration Curation) & Partner Campaigns (ZMS): Help with organizing casting for marketing banners, brand homes, and product campaigns, with a focus on authentic representation.

WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)

  • Support in sourcing and coordinating diverse talent for Zalando’s productions across campaigns, events, and editorial shoots

  • Assist with maintaining and updating internal databases of models, talent, and creative collaborators

  • Help research emerging models, creatives, and digital talent relevant to our projects

  • Coordinate communication with talent, agencies, and production partners under guidance from Casting Leads

  • Assist in scheduling, logistics planning, and documentation preparation (e.g., call sheets, release forms)

  • Join team meetings and contribute to ongoing casting discussions and brainstorming

  • Help gather and organize casting moodboards, references, and visual research

  • Occasionally support on-set or studio-based productions, especially during early morning model check-ins or fittings

  • Support invoice processing and casting-related admin tasks

WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF

  • You have some initial experience (e.g. internships, student jobs, or project work) in casting, influencer marketing, fashion media, TV, creative production, or talent management

  • You’re passionate about fashion, culture, and emerging digital talent

  • You bring strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • You’re a team player with great communication and collaboration skills

  • You have a willingness to learn quickly, take initiative, and adapt in a dynamic environment

  • You’re comfortable using digital tools like Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive)

  • You have a basic understanding of social media trends and influencer platforms

  • You are fluent in English (German is a plus, especially for Liveshow-related projects)

  • Experience working with models, talents, influencers or agencies is a nice to have
