Zalando’s Information Security department is looking for a Senior Program Manager for their Strategy Team.
The Information Security department is tackling security threats and protects Zalando´s ability to operate in cyberspace. Under constantly evolving regulatory requirements, customer data, employee data, Zalando’s business data and the data of partners fall under our responsibility to protect them throughout the entire data lifecycle.
As a Senior Program Manager you will be responsible for driving strategic security related programs and projects on behalf of the Information Security department and directly contribute to strengthening the state of security at Zalando.

WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)
Leading complex, various multi-departmental projects/programs end to end.
Being responsible for planning, monitoring, change management for your program/projects.
Managing interdependencies and coordination across projects and programs to safeguard overall progress and quality.
You effectively manage conflict and priorities.
Using your excellent soft-skills, you bring in and involve the right people to make projects happen and naturally tailor your communication to your audience.
Getting things done and challenging the status quo. You change complexity into clarity, and adjust your approach for each individual project.
Driving accountability, efficient team collaboration, and feedback culture.
WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF
You have 5+ years of project/program management experience in an agile tech environment with a track record of delivering medium to high complexity projects and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
You speak the language of business as well as engineering and understand the process of moving from the first ideation to eventual go-live and handover. You have a strong capability to self-learn and an interest in Information Security related topics.
You possess a working backwards approach to problem solving and proven ability to listen, interpret, and incorporate feedback on your work. You regularly reflect on your own work and share feedback in a constructive way.
You are a highly motivated team player and an expert in managing conflicts and priorities with both teams and stakeholders. You take responsibility for your tasks, and work in an independent and structured manner.
You consistently demonstrate a customer centric approach and start to flag continuous improvements initiatives within your projects.
