As a Senior Strategic Growth and Assortment Manager (all genders), you will report into the Head of Buying and will leverage your natural networking abilities and people skills to influence and present at the leadership level. You will strategically build assortment strategies to successfully execute the Portfolio and Zalando plans.

WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)

  • Develop and implement strategic assortment plans aligned with both portfolio, partner and Zalando goals.

  • Provide expertise and guidance on assortment planning, trading, and opportunities to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Foster strong relationships with partners and internal teams to drive collaborative success.

  • Ensure that assortment strategies are effectively communicated and executed across the portfolio.

  • Continuously assess market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.

WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF

  • Ideally 5 years of proven experience in assortment planning, merchandising or strategic development roles.

  • Strong networking abilities and experience presenting at the leadership level.

  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed strategic decisions.

  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.

  • Deep understanding of market trends, customer behaviour, and brand positioning.

  • Proficiency in using planning tools and software to analyse and drive performance.
