WHY YOU SHOULD BE INTERESTED…
You’ll be responsible for monitoring upcoming product legislation, market surveillance trends and escalate accordingly for Zalando to implement requirements in time.
You’ll lead the development of Zalandos group product compliance framework together with the team and translate UK, EU, and local regulations into standards and policies.
You’ll support teams in daily operations by addressing risk/risk mitigation (interface to Product safety and QA team)connected to Product Safety, Chemical compliance, and Quality assurance at Zalando.
You’ll drive and/or be the subject matter expert (SME) in strategic cross-functional projects with the ability to turn complex product compliance requirements into scalable processes and solutions for the Zalando group.
As the Product compliance SME you will participate in external trade associations to represent the Zalando group.
You’ll evaluate future AI tools and solutions to support future best practices to secure Product compliance.
WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF…
You have an advanced professional knowledge of European and UK legislative requirements, with min 10 years of work experience in the retail industry in the following sectors: apparel, footwear, accessories, cosmetics, toys.
You have in-depth knowledge about product regulations (e,g labeling, safety, and chemical) spanning across the Zalando product range and secure our policies and SOP accordingly (apparel, footwear, accessories, cosmetics, toys, electrical and electrical products.
You have extensive knowledge in Chemical management and quality assurance and understand how to assess risk and build and implement processes supporting product compliance.
You bring strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills with the declared intention to drive prevention focus and a proven track record in project management.
You have excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills in both written and spoken English.
You have advanced knowledge of software applications in project management, word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentations as well as Google Suite tools.
You have participated in trade associations and or standardization groups
