Join Zalando's Brand Media department as the Sr. Manager Digital Media Strategic Development, a key role within our Media Team. You will lead multiple initiatives, projects, and programs within the Digital Media Team. Your main focus will be our dynamic creative optimization program, representing the largest single initiative within brand marketing. You will drive the vision and roadmap of the initiative, including content, product, media, data, and measurement. In this role, you report directly to the Team Lead Digital Media Strategic Development.

WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)

  • Drive the vision, strategy, and roadmap to build the best-in-class dynamic creative optimization engine. 

  • Unlock opportunities and define processes for ad tech tools such as Smartly, Innervate, Celtra or Bannerflow, challenge the status quo, and lead the tool selection process, and business reviews. 

  • Be responsible for the growth of awareness & consideration metrics.

  • Design extensive incrementality, bidding & creative test roadmap to prove the value of initiatives.

  • Take a leadership role in planning, executing, and successfully delivering projects that require strong collaboration among multiple teams (Media Strategy, Planning, Local Media Teams, Digital Media, Product, Engineering, and Analytic Teams)

  • Be a brand ambassador for Zalando by actively participating in industry-leading summits and partner events.

WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in digital media, having worked at a media agency, marketing agency, in-house media team, or social media platform. 

  • In-depth experience in working with the most relevant paid social media platforms such as Meta, TikTok, Snap, Pinterest, DV360

  • Strategic ad tech knowledge and implementation experience of the main components of the marketing techstack (ie DSP partners, DCO partners, Brand Safety solutions)

  • Strong experience using product feeds, dynamic ads & automation tools

  • Deep understanding of digital performance marketing metrics, tools & best practices

  • Strong command of analytics & data manipulation tools

  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently among multiple strategies and global campaign management

  • Knowledgeable about tracking, attribution models & incrementally testing with the ability to take action based on data-driven recommendations 

  • You are a team player and a clear communicator with excellent command of written and spoken English

  • You are experienced in managing complex projects, large budgets and delivering against ambitious targets.
