THE ROLE & THE TEAM
The Long Term Capacity Planning Team is a key pillar of our Network Strategy Team that develops the network design to support our growth strategy. As a Senior Analyst (m/f/d), you will own part of the scope for long-term planning of capacities, network cost models, and important customer-centric KPIs. You build mathematical models, gather inputs, and prepare as well as align outputs with senior stakeholders to trigger strategic decisions and enable impactful actions.

WHY YOU SHOULD BE INTERESTED…
You will delve into the challenges of our European logistics network and identify opportunities to further improve and contribute to shaping the future strategy of Zalando’s logistics network.
You will analyze large data sets, structure, set-up and maintain mathematical models that enable long-term planning of our supply chain, logistics network capacities, network cost simulations as well as customer-centric KPIs.
You will take ownership of your assigned scope in the bigger team, prepare and present outcomes and coordinate follow-up with senior stakeholders.
WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF…
You possess a University degree in economics, business administration, controlling, or similar
You have more than 4 years of relevant post-degree work experience
You have strong analytical thinking, and business acumen and enjoy working with spreadsheets and building models
You have a strong technical background in programming languages such as VBA, Excel, Python/R, or SQL, which is a plus
You have excellent communication skills, written and oral, in English with the ability to engage with senior-level & C-level stakeholders
