WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)
Design, develop, roll out and maintain (curated) data products.
Work with Product and Data Analysts, Data Engineers, Data Scientists, as well as Product teams serving stakeholders across Zalando.
Act like an owner and execute on the whole data engineering workflow.
Ensure the quality of our data products - and monitor them accordingly.
WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF YOU
Own a Bachelor or Master degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science or a related field.
Are proficient with data warehousing concepts and data modeling.
Have a few years of hands on experience in designing, implementing and deploying software in a production environment using SQL and Python.
Can demonstrate an understanding of distributed systems, software architecture & agile development.
Have Production experience with Big Data frameworks such as Spark, Flink, Airflow, Kafka or ElasticSearch, as well as developing solutions on AWS or other cloud providers.
