As a Lead Accountant for Supply Chain & Inventories (all genders), you will play a critical role in managing our financial processes related to inventory and supply chain activities. You will ensure accurate financial reporting according to IFRS and Local GAAP (HGB) and control, offering insights to drive business decisions.You will act as a consultant regarding the end-to-end inventory processes for various internal stakeholders, especially from business, tech as well as finance departments, and constantly improve our financial processes. You will work with large datasets in Excel to prepare complex financial reports and to perform in-depth analysis for identifying and resolving discrepancies.

WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)
You lead and mentor a team of accountants and financial analysts
You manage SAP accounting systems for supply chain and inventory management
You oversee and manage all aspects of supply chain accounting, including cost accounting, inventory valuation, and variance analysis and account reconciliation to ensure accuracy and compliance
You analyze supply chain operations to identify financial risks and opportunities
You ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports related to inventories
You collaborate with supply chain and operations teams to improve inventory accuracy, turnover rates, and cost efficiencies
You develop and maintain internal controls for inventory and supply chain financial activities
You lead and participate in the development of policies and procedures related to supply chain accounting
You propose and implement measures to optimize financial processes alongside operational KPIs, and ensure alignment of cross-cutting initiatives
You manage projects, i.e. drive content, coordinate stakeholders and in a small project team
You leverage your expertise and previous experiences to constantly seek out better ways of performing processes and contribute to process excellence initiatives
WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF
You hold a degree (Bachelor, Master, MBA) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Supply Chain Accounting or equivalent and you have a minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on supply chain and inventory management.
Very good MS Office (especially Excel) & G Suite knowledge along with ERP knowledge and knowledge of SAP financial products or similar software.
You have strong process and analytical skills to deliver a great data-driven performance. You are able to drive projects autonomously, keeping tight deadlines and managing multiple stakeholders.
You are self-driven, results-oriented, and enjoy working independently: you take being a role model seriously, always display a positive attitude and you are a real team player.
You are curious and open to continuous change, accept uncertainty and actively seek improvements in your area of responsibility. You are brave to experiment and test improvements.
You have excellent communication and leadership abilities.
