At Zalando Lounge, our mission is to become Europe’s leading offprice platform by creating joy in discovering daily deals on fashion and lifestyle goods. To help us get there, we are hiring for a Senior Principal Product Manager in our Customer Facing Applications team.
As a Senior Principal Product Manager, you will lead the newly formed Discover Squad, where you’ll own and redefine the most critical aspects of our browsing and discovery experience. This role will go beyond incremental improvements, and will fundamentally rethink our browsing experience to align with customer needs and strategic priorities. You’ll set a bold vision, execute against it, and introduce AI-powered and scalable solutions to make assortment discoverability seamless and engaging, while building customer loyalty and excitement. With a ~16 person squad, consisting of product designers, product analytics, 10 cross-platform engineers, and a second junior PM to support, this is a high-impact role at the heart of Lounge’s product strategy.

High-impact scope: Tackle complex challenges that contribute to Lounge’s long-term success, delivering measurable outcomes for assortment discoverability and inventory optimization.
Collaborate and influence: Build key relationships across the Zalando Group, while closer to home, work across multiple internal Lounge teams to leverage shared capabilities and enable impactful customer experiences.
Mentor and influence: Act as a mentor and key thought leader, shaping the product community, building best practices, and helping the organization keep a customer centric mindset.
WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF
Proven experience: 7+ years in product, driving impactful B2C solutions in e-commerce, fashion or related fields.
Master the craft: You are skilled across the full product lifecyle, with many years of experience in driving opportunities from early discovery to full delivery, and iterating to perfection with a test and learn mindset.
Think big, act pragmatically: Strong analytical and creative problem-solver, comfortable with ambiguity and able to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution. You have a very strong bias to action.
Collaborative mindset: Able to build cross-business and cross-functional relationships with ease. Can skillfully work with senior leadership, foster teamwork, and navigate increasingly complex dependencies.
AI and personalization: Experience working with and delivering solutions involving AI and personalization would be a huge plus! As well as an ability to think creatively on how to apply such capabilities to new spaces to solve meaningful customer problems.
