Earning German professional certification in a single year while drawing a full salary? At Zalando, it’s possible in the warehouse logistics specialist certification program. The program receives support from the German Employment Agency and culminates in certification recognized nationwide. Participating employees are required to have B2 level German language skills, be at least 25 years old and have more than three and a half years of experience in warehouse logistics.
Anyone looking to work at Zalando while earning a degree can do so at different Logistics locations at Zalando, for example at Lahr or Erfurt. The course of study with a focus on logistics starts every winter semester. During the on-the-job phases, students cycle through several functions and management roles with us, with support in the form of training sessions. Participants are required to hold a German certificate of general higher education entrance qualification (Abitur).
For those who wish to go on to leadership positions after studying, our one-year junior leadership program is a great choice. Participants get to know various departments from a Zalando logistics site as they learn and grow in practical, professional and personal terms.
If you want to apprentice in mechatronics, you can do so in material flow technology, depending on the logistics location. For example, we are currently training seven apprentices at our Lahr logistics site in Baden-Württemberg, with two more having just started. The program takes three and a half years and requires a diploma from a German higher general secondary school (Realschule).
