Our team in Dortmund started as a specialist unit handling everything that relates to Payment. Here we develop our monitoring systems, collaborating with payment service providers to find innovative ways to create the most user-friendly checkout experience possible. We continuously add new areas of competency, with teams now focused on the tech challenges connected to mission-critical topics including consumer incentives, inventory management, transportation, fulfillment and stock valuation.
Fulfillment Core is all about inventory – and about the promise that we give to our customers. We make sure that our customers not only have a great delivery experience, but that delivery happens exactly when and how we promised. For this we process vast amounts of data, provide extremely reliable and high performing services and are always working to improve our algorithms and predictive models.
As a Research Engineer at Fulfillment Core in Dortmund, you will be working on building a giant map of how our inventory can be moved across our fulfillment network. You will be working on predictive models that allow us to know what inventory levels we can expect at any given time in any location within our network. You will carry a lot of responsibility working on systems highly critical to the business and have plenty opportunities to make our customers even happier.
