You will work for the Marketing Data Team, a team that builds Business Intelligence products focused on measuring the performance of our marketing activities. You’ll be the interface between Data Scientists, Business Analysts or Marketing Managers of other teams and the Data Engineers within your team. Your tasks will be of great variety, just to name some: aligning and defining requirements for a broad range of data-driven products (e.g. marketing attribution), project management, functional ownership and QA of our products, ad hoc analysis. You’ll have the possibility to work with relational database like Oracle or ExaSol as well as big data technologies like Spark and Hive.


You are setting standards

Ownership. You will own large scale data products. You will be given the autonomy and trust to drive the development of those products together with your team.

Scale. Based on our data infrastructure, you and your team will own your code, decide on the technologies and tools to deliver as well as operate large-scale ETL processes, partly on PaaS/SaaS cloud (AWS).

Excellence. You will join a team that is dedicated to delivering the highest standards when it comes to the quality of code and implementation. You will add value by leveraging and setting new trends in requirements engineering, (automated) QA of data and collaboration within our team or with other teams to get the best out of our data.

Variety. You will consult a wide range of product teams to build, scale and continuously improve a variety of products that create value for our platform.


You Are Skilled

Experienced with advanced skills in SQL and an analytical mindset. Knowledge in the marketing domain, especially Google products (e.g. GA, BQ, Doubleclick), and data modelling is a plus.

Holistic Thinking by understanding dependencies between technical, business and customer impact. You like getting into technical details but you are also able to see the bigger picture and explain the why behind the what. You make technical complexity understandable for the business.

Motivated in making a positive impact on our engineering culture and encouraging knowledge sharing. You think big-picture, and constantly evaluate our work and processes to challenge us.

Forward Thinking in your ability and interest in translating business requirements into technological visions, and ​reimagining ​​data-driven products.
