As an Engineering Lead in our Customer Care department in Berlin, you will lead state-of-the-art technology delivery behind the Customer Care initiatives aimed at enhancing customer satisfaction of our 19+ mio customers. You will build an AI-based software application that will revolutionize the Customer Service experience.
You Are Setting Standards
Vision. You help to sharpen the vision for the Self-Help Customer Service product and explain technical challenges to non-technical colleagues.
Leadership. In this hands-on leadership role you build up the new team, define the architecture and technology stack on a green field and drive pragmatic make-or-buy-decision making.
Execution. You will champion all phases of software development life cycle including product vision, functional analysis development of technical requirements, prototyping, coding, testing, deployment and support.
Collaboration. You will team up and empower team members and stakeholders to build customer-centered solution.
Ownership. You have ownership of your product solution, you envision it, you build it, you run it and you continuously improve it.
You Are Skilled
Technologies. In setting up and running Java- or Scala-based high-performance distributed systems with high-availability, within back-office or e-commerce systems.
Experience. In bringing 5-10 years of hands-on engineering experience along with track record of finding new ways to apply machine learning and AI techniques to improve the operations.
Leadership. In leading, coaching and mentoring a multi-talented multi-national team, incl. product specialist, copywriter, software engineers and you have 2+ years of experience as a team lead working on complex products in an agile way.
Stakeholder Management. In securing buy-in for your solutions from the upper management; and you can translate management goals down to the contributor level in an actionable and inspiring manner.
AI and Bots. You already have experience with bot platform ecosystem development, messaging platform and NLP/AI as a service and would like to further grow in this area.
