As a member of Zalando's Distributed Commerce team, you will explore the edges of the fashion ecosystem to design compelling new fashion experiences outside the normal e-commerce channels.

YOU SET STANDARDS
As a Product Designer (UX) for Distributed Commerce, you break new ground in an exciting emerging field.
Explore. You decode users’, brands’ and internal stakeholders’ needs around social and conversational experiences in the fashion space. You understand consumer behavior in social media, dig deep into the zone between shopping and sharing, and hone in on the triggers from inspiration to action.
Ideate. You generate creative solutions for bringing inspiring fashion products into consumers’ daily social feeds and digital conversations. You will embed Zalando experiences in a wide variety of channels (i.e. Facebook, Instagram, SnapChat, Google Home and many more) and media (web, mobile, voice, etc.), sowing the seeds of fashion eCommerce into the cracks of the internet.
Validate. You will continuously test and enhance both new designs and existing solutions, ensuring that you -- as a team -- deliver both business value and customer satisfaction.
Iterate and innovate. After proving concepts in one channel you will need to adapt them to others. How might we make what succeeded on Facebook work on SnapChat? How might we adapt social commerce learnings to TV? These challenges will drive you forward.
YOU ARE SKILLED
To land this job you will show and explain raw artifacts from various stages of the design process, demonstrating both your well-rounded experience and your stand-out skills.
User-centered. You have the methods and skills under your belt to ensure that all stakeholders in the product development team walk in the customer's shoes and see through the user’s eyes.
Tangible. You bring ideas to life -- and get solutions built -- by illustrating customer journeys, defining frameworks, writing scenarios, creating information architectures, crafting interaction patterns, making wireframes and building prototypes.
