As a Senior Research Engineer, you will make a leading contribution to our Data Science effort for our advertising products. You will develop state-of-the-art media buying algorithms as well as revolutionary consumer insight generation methodologies. You will contribute to the design and continuous improvement of our company-wide testing and optimization framework. You will act as a sparring partner for Business Owners and Product Development Leads to shape the Product vision and ensure the soundness and feasibility of our business models.

Vision. You make leading contribution to the technical vision and architecture together with your team. You collaborate with Engineers, Scientists, Analysts, Product and Business Owners to develop ambitious product and technical strategy.
Mission. You’ll be part of company-wide effort towards a more data driven future. You lend your expertise to senior management on statistical topics. You will pioneer our ever sophisticating optimization approaches.
Ownership. You will be responsible for the performance of our models and algorithms. You will ensure our approach to data, testing and optimization is sound.
Data Science. Very strong track record in data driven optimizations. Expertise in Data Science, Machine Learning, Statistics. Experience with Deep Neural Networks, especially Recursive Neural Networks is strongly preferred.
Product. Ability to understand our clients and our business strategy. Sense of entrepreneurship. Expertise in product management and stakeholder management. Ability to facilitate collaboration between diverse contributors.
Technology. Hands-on technical background in reporting/analytics application and/or ETL/DWH development. Expertise in Data Science, Machine Learning is a plus. Experience in particular tech stacks are not important, but familiarity with open source technologies is a plus.
Leadership. Leading, coaching and mentoring software engineers and data scientists. 3+ years of experience as team lead working on complex data-driven products.
