The Role

You will be a digital analyst, embedded in one of our product teams. You will act as a product analyst which means you will use your digital analysis expertise in order to determine what needs to be tracked and how. You will help implement what is required and derive analytical insights from the results in a way that can help product decisions or improvements to be made. Defining and implementing A/B tests, using our available tools, will be an important part of this.  We refer to each part or functionality on our web and mobile properties as a product and have dedicated teams for them with which you will be working closely. You will also be working with an array of other teams which are involved in how analytics is implemented and used in our company within the Product Analytics pillar.

Technical Requirements

As a digital analyst we expect you to be of an intermediate to advanced level with regards to the below tools or technologies:

  • Google Analytics (Preferably IQ certified)- mastery in other tracking technologies can be used as an alternative (e.g. Adobe, Webtrekk, SnowPlow, Piwik, etc)
  • Google Tag Manager
  • BigQuery (Alternatively strong SQL knowledge)
  • Strong knowledge of analytical topics such as funnels, cohort analyses, long-term trends, user segmentation, regression models and more
  • Strong knowledge of A/B testing best practices and relevant technologies
  • R for analytical and visualization purposes or Python alternatively
  • Strong knowledge of e-commerce KPIs and how they can be defined
  • Understanding of web and mobile development technologies for both front-end and back-end (specially a strong understanding of JavaScript, HTML, CSS)
  • Sufficient math, statistics
  • Nice-to-haves: familiarity with Data Science and Machine Learning concepts, advanced R/Python, advanced SQL

As a digital analyst that is functioning as an embedded product analyst, we expect you to have organizational skills that are superior to common standards, specifically with regards to:

    • Possession of a strong analytical mind that can simplify complex problems
    • Ability to identify business or product improvement opportunities in e-commerce
    • Ability to present and communicate such opportunities smoothly verbally or using text and visualization

    • Meetings organization and steering
    • Stakeholder Identification and Management
  • Initiator and independent contributor
    • Ability to conceive and pursue new ideas
    • Ability to work with minimal supervision and independently
  • Ability to advocate and demonstrate benefits of data-drivenness

 Education & Experience

  • You've completed a degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, economics or a similar quantitative discipline
  • You have more than 3 years of experience specifically in Digital Analytics using the mentioned tools and technologies, preferably in e-commerce
  • You have concrete cases of analysis, experimentation and KPI definition preferably in an e-commerce context that you can share with us in the interview process
