As an Engineering Manager within the Fulfillment Network platform, you will lead one of the teams that model the fulfillment network and provide the foundational structure and data points that inform the many capabilities that Fulfillment Core provides, such as fulfillment planning and delivery time prediction. You will collaborate with product managers, principal engineers, other engineering teams and stakeholders throughout the organization to shape and provide applications that are essential to deliver a delightful delivery experience to our customers.

WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF
You have strong people management skills, with the ability to hire, develop, and inspire engineers, and maintain a culture of accountability, trust, and continuous learning and improvement.
Background in software engineering with an ability to balance competing priorities.
Experience working with distributed systems at scale, understanding the challenges of operating them resiliently in a complex microservices landscape with REST APIs and asynchronous communication, mostly with JVM based applications.
Commitment to operational excellence and the application of good engineering practices.
Ability to understand complex technical issues deeply, while also considering the impact the team’s work has on the department, company-wide projects, and our customers
